Hosted at The Banking Hall, the London Market Forums supported Haven House children’s hospice and helped to raise money for the fantastic work that it does. To ensure the night was one to remember, London Market Forums creator, Roger Oldham, persuaded many well-known industry names to take to the catwalk and model some fantastic outfits kindly donated for the evening by SUITSUPPLY and PAULE KA.
Newly appointed Director of Insurance at Eurobase, Rebecca Oliver, was kind enough to give up her time and to take to the catwalk in what proved to be a great night. Eurobase was pleased to be able to sponsor the event and show its support for such a worthy cause. A total of £8000 was raised on the night, made up from sponsorship, donation cards, a raffle and a prize auction; for which many generous events, days out and vouchers had been donated.
Eurobase would like to thank everyone involved, including its guests, for making the night enjoyable and successful. Hearing first hand from Stephen, who sadly lost his son, just how much Haven House children’s hospice helped to make his sons last 6 days such a memorable time made every penny donated well worth the cause.
If you would like to support Haven House and the work that it does, please feel free to donate here: https://www.havenhouse.org.uk/Appeal/donate. By donating, you are helping Haven House to reach out to life-limited children and their families. In 2017/18 it will cost £3.9m to fully resource the hospice, of which only 22% will come from government funding.
